With opportunities for flexible work, the role will see you partnering with leaders across Council to promote a robust culture of safety and positivity to strategically deliver services for customers and the community.The role will also see you (among other responsibilities):Leading the WHS & Injury Management TeamPromoting WHS & RTW strategies to achieve Council’s objectivesProviding expert advice and support on all WHS & RTW mattersReviewing and developing WHS & RTW policies and proceduresDriving a positive WHS culture throughout the organisationInfluencing positive WHS & RTW related outcomes for the organisationRepresenting Council at RTW Tribunal hearingsAbout youThis is a great opportunity for experienced WHS leaders with demonstrated experience from either the public, private or NFP sector. With a stellar working knowledge of WHS and RTW regulations, the ideal candidate will also possess:Strong communication and problem-solving skillsEstablished professional background of leadership and management of a small teamDemonstrated capacity to operate at both a strategic and operational levelSound decision-making with the ability to consider a variety of optionsProven quality stakeholder management skills and the ability to build rapportCertificate IV level WHS qualifications and RTW Coordinator qualificationsMore information can be found on the Position Description located below.
