We are proud of offering a wide range of accessible services and programs to our community.You don’t need experience in local government for this role – we’re looking for transferrable skills and a great attitude.Now’s a great time to be part of PAE.About the RoleAs our Activation & Events Coordinator, you’ll step into a creative producer role, leading the planning, programming and delivery of complex events and projects from start to finish.You will:Design and deliver engaging, high-impact events and activations.Lead end-to-end event planning (site, risk, production, logistics & delivery).Develop innovative programming and audience experiences.Support and grow community-led events and initiatives.Build strong partnerships across arts, business and industry networks.Contribute to a year-round events calendar that brings the City to life.About You We’re looking for a highly skilled and creative individual who is genuinely customer-focused and passionate about making a meaningful impact in our community. You’ll be curious and adaptable, with a holistic, ‘big-picture’ perspective, think creatively, and bring fresh ideas while balancing strong analytical skills and lateral thinking to deliver creative, practical and solutions-focused outcomes.You’re highly organised and agile, you thrive in moving environments, balancing competing priorities while building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders through excellent communication and influencing skills. You lead with empathy, embrace diversity, and are politically aware, with a natural ability to coach and support others, while maintaining your own resilience and commitment to continuous growth and self-development.You’ll have:5+ years’ experience delivering complex events and activations.Proven ability to manage projects and large-scale events.Strong stakeholder skills, you know how to bring people together.Solid knowledge of creative event production, risk, and planning.A passion for community, culture and placemaking.You must hold a current WWCC and completed the Child Safe Environments training or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.More information can be found in the Position Description located below. This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary of $103,808 per annum (plus Super).At PAE, our values guide us to work together, strive for improvement, and make a positive impact in our community.
