About the Role

Yitpi Yartapuultiku is a welcoming cultural and community space where people come together to learn, share stories and connect. Every visitor experience matters and that’s where you come in.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering warm, welcoming and culturally respectful customer service
  • Preparing and serving café food and beverages
  • Operating point of sale systems and handle transactions accurately
  • Keeping the café, retail and front‑of‑house areas clean, safe and inviting
  • Supporting events and day‑to‑day venue operations
  • Helping showcase products from First Nations‑owned and ethical suppliers

About You 

You don’t need to tick every box – we’re interested in attitude, energy and willingness to learn.

You’re someone who:

  • Brings a friendly, calm and reliable approach – even when things get busy
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and pitching in where needed
  • Loves welcoming people and creating positive customer experiences
  • Is passionate about community spaces, culture and connection
  • Has experience in café, retail or customer‑service work (or willingness to learn)
  • Is respectful of, or eager to learn about, working within a First Nations cultural environment
  • Food Safety certification (or willingness to complete)
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to complete)
