If you love problem‑solving, modern infrastructure, and making a real impact through your work, we’d love to hear from you.As the Cloud and Infrastructure Lead you will:Lead the design, delivery and ongoing management of Council’s cloud, hybrid and on‑premises infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, security and compliance.Provide hands‑on technical leadership across AWS, Azure, and Hyper-V environments and supporting Windows and Ubuntu servers, including system administration, monitoring, disaster recovery and escalated support.Partner with internal teams and external vendors to uplift cybersecurity, documentation, architectural standards and a constructive, values‑driven IT culture.About You You’re a confident infrastructure professional who enjoys rolling up your sleeves while also providing technical leadership. You’re naturally curious and proactive, communicate clearly with people from all backgrounds, and can explain technical ideas in a way that just makes sense. You stay calm and organised when things move quickly, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering great support to users with different levels of technical confidence.You’ll bring:A relevant degree with at least 5 years’ experience, or equivalent practical experience  across AWS cloud infrastructure, Hyper-V with Windows and administering  Active Directory, SQL, Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, and cloud/on‑prem virtualised environments (including Hyper‑V).Experience implementing and enhancing cybersecurity controls, supporting and administering complex multi‑vendor environments, with relevant certifications such as Microsoft, AWS, or ITIL.Experience with working in Local Government and working with ITSM frameworks and service desk ticket systems will be highly regardedMore information can be found in the Position Description located below. This is a Level 6 position which has a current salary of $112,395 per annum (plus Super).At PAE, our values guide us to work together, strive for improvement, and make a positive impact in our community.
