As a Community Safety Investigator, you’ll be making a real impact, by helping ensure responsible pet ownership, improving public safety, and supporting a clean, accessible and welcoming city for everyone. In this dynamic, people‑focused role, you will:Lead highly complex investigations across a broad range of legislation, including gathering evidence, conducting interviews, preparing detailed reports and enforcement actions, incorporating the appropriate use of body‑worn recording equipment when required.Drive community safety initiatives by supporting programs, operations and educational activities that promote public safety and positive behaviours. Be a trusted expert, providing technical advice to both the community and internal teams on regulatory and compliance matters. Shape meaningful outcomes, preparing high‑quality investigation briefs, managing a diverse caseload, and representing Council in court when needed.
