We are proud of offering a wide range of accessible services and programs to our community.This is an opportunity to make a real difference by supporting community safety, promoting responsible pet ownership, and helping keep public spaces safe and accessible through education, problem solving and fair enforcement.Now’s a great time to be part of PAE.About the Role In this role, you will support community wellbeing and safety through education, engagement and the fair enforcement of relevant legislation.Key responsibilities of the position include:Promote community safety and compliance through education, problem solving, and enforcement of relevant legislation.Investigate and respond to animal management matters, including issues under the Dog and Cat Management Act.Provide advice and support to the community on a range of local laws and community safety matters.About You A confident and community-minded professional with excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage challenging situations professionally and fairly.You will have strong communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and achieve positive community outcomes.
