Working across a 7-day roster, you’ll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, whether you’re out on patrol, assisting the public, or investigating community concerns.You’ll be out in the community, making a visible impact by:Monitoring parking compliance to keep streets and public spaces safe and accessible.Promoting responsible dog and cat ownership (including investigating incidents and managing stray animals).Responding to local nuisance issues, illegal dumping, and abandoned vehicles.Exercising authorised officer powers under relevant legislation.Engaging with residents and businesses to educate and support compliance.About You We want people who are:Customer-focused and confident interacting with diverse community members.Calm under pressure, with strong conflict resolution and communication skills.Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities.Adaptable and comfortable working outdoors in a dynamic environment.Passionate about community safety and positive outcomes.Confident working with dogs of varying temperaments and needsExperience in a regulatory role, conflict management, negotiating and/or mediation is highly desirable.A requirement of this role is that you must have a current South Australian driver’s licence.More information can be found in the Position Description located below. At PAE, our values guide us to work together, strive for improvement, and make a positive impact in our community.
