CAWRA owns and oversees a Material Recovery Facility that processes kerbside recycling for the region and is operated by principal contractor, Visy Recycling.As CAWRA continues to grow, its focus extends beyond facility operations to improving waste diversion, recycling performance, contract outcomes and environmental sustainability across the region. This role is employed by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and provides dedicated financial support to CAWRA, contributing to the delivery of this important service.About the Role You'll provide financial accounting, reporting, compliance and transactional finance support across a broad range of activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders and the CAWRA leadership team, you'll help deliver accurate financial information, maintain robust financial controls and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Key responsibilities include:Prepare and deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis to support informed decision-making.Maintain strong financial governance through reconciliations, financial controls, statutory compliance and audit support.Oversee transactional finance activities, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashflow and treasury functions.Drive continuous improvement by enhancing financial systems, processes and reporting capabilities.About YouYou're a proactive and organised finance professional who enjoys delivering high-quality work and building strong relationships.
