Using data-driven insights to improve fleet performance, reduce costs, and support sustainability outcomes for the community.Key responsibilities of the position include:Provide efficient and effective fleet administration support, applying sound judgement and initiative while ensuring compliance with Council policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Coordinate the decommissioning of fleet, plant, and equipment, liaising with key stakeholders to support effective fleet lifecycle management.Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal and external plant & machinery service scheduling, workshop calendars, and purchasing of related parts.Manage fleet-related systems and resources, including fuel cards, EV fobs, electronic data integrity, and monitoring fleet performance, risks, and trends.Deliver high-quality customer service through proactive liaison with internal and external customers, contractors, and service providers, while supporting risk management across operations and projects.The successful applicant will have:A drivers licence is essential.A Fleet Management Certificate or equivalent experience is desirable.Forklift licence is desirable.Experience with administering fleet database systems.Relevant experience in the administrative co-ordination of plant and machinery servicing.Experience in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation, preferably within fleet or asset management systems.Understanding of telematics systems, data integrity principles and reporting tools.Sound working knowledge and understanding of operational procedures relating to fleet administration.Knowledge of fleet database management.A broad understanding of fleet utilization.Working knowledge of the principles and practices required for purchasing.More information can be found on the Position Description located below.This is a Level 3 position which has a current salary of $85,842 (plus Super).Confidential enquiries can be directed to Tober Solito, Team Leader Operational Support on 8405 6642 or tober.solito@cityofpae.sa.gov.au.
