In this role you will support older residents and people with disability to stay independent, safe at home, and socially connected through community programs, group activities, and services delivered under the Commonwealth Home Support Program.Key responsibilities of the position include: Support the planning and delivery of social support programs for older residents.Co-design activities and initiatives that promote wellbeing and social connection.Guide and support volunteers in program delivery.Conduct client assessments and liaise with external service providers.Ensure programs meet funding, compliance, and safety requirements."*This position may be required to work across other council locations*The successful applicant will have: Suitable Qualification applicable from 1 July 2025.Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC). Current Aged Care Sector Employment Check.Child Safe Environments Training (or willingness to undertake).Current Class C Driver’s license.Current Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.Experience working in aged care and disability services.Experience in delivering and coordinating community programs and/ or services.
