We are proud of offering a wide range of accessible services and programs to our community.You don’t need experience in local government for this role – we’re looking for transferrable skills and a great attitude.Now’s a great time to be part of PAE.About the RoleYou will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of street sweeping plant and equipment, along with a range of civil maintenance and labouring duties.You’ll play an important role in:Operate, maintaining and caring for street sweeping plant and associated equipment.Carry out general operation duties within Parks and Gardens – Street Care.Ensure worksites are clean, safe and compliant with WHS requirements.Undertake traffic management duties where required.Complete daily documentation and accurately record work in Council systems.About You You bring energy, initiative and a positive can‑do attitude to every shift. You’re reliable, flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities and help wherever needed. You’re practical and solutions‑focused, work well both independently and in a team, and always act professionally when representing the organisation in the community.You’ll bring:MR Driver’s Licence.Work Zone Traffic Management Licence.Construction Industry White Card.Completion of compulsory secondary education.Ability to maintain required licences and competenciesMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable.More information can be found in the Position Description located below.
