About the Role
You’ll work side‑by‑side with leaders and teams across Council, acting as a trusted advisor rather than the "compliance police". You’ll help embed safer work practices into day‑to‑day operations across a large, diverse organisation, from offices to operational environments.

About You
You’re an experienced WHS professional who enjoys influencing, partnering and problem‑solving. You know how to build trust, ask the right questions and help people do the right thing, not because they have to, but because they understand why it matters.
You’ll have a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent), and/or 3–5 years relevant experience in a WHS Partner or advisory role within a complex organisation. With strong knowledge of WHS legislation and standards, you’re confident coaching and influencing leaders, communicating clearly and delivering practical, solutions‑focused outcomes.

This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary of $103,808 per annum (plus Super).
